Well, it looks like I wasn't the only one who didn't get a picture of my firstborn riding the bus on the first day of kindergarten. My mom sent me this picture last week . . . and noted it was my SECOND day on the school bus (sometime in August or September 1983 - I'll bet the exact date is written on the picture!); she couldn't remember why a picture wasn't taken on the first day!
