We had such a fun time celebrating Hannah Kate's 1st birthday. We had a little party in Louisiana during Thanksgiving and another little party here when Pop and Mimi came. Here are some pictures from the festivities. 
Abbie and Mason enjoyed helping Hannah Kate eat her "smash" cake. They mostly enjoyed picking the fondant balls and polka dots off of the cake.
For some reason, Hannah Kate wasn't very interested in opening her presents. So Abbie and Mason took care of that for her.
Polka dots and cupcakes was the "theme" for Hannah Kate's first birthday.
We actually got a few "good" family pictures. Surprise surprise! If you've been following our blog very long, you know what I mean!
Hannah Kate loves her Pop, and he loves her! They have such fun playing together. I love watching my dad play with Hannah Kate. I like to think that's probably how he played with me when I was his little girl.
Pop has a lap full, but he loves every minute of it!

Pop and Mimi arrived with a whole lot of presents from our Georgia family. And this time around, Hannah Kate knew exactly what to do! She had some help from big brother, too. The only problem was that every time she discovered a new gift, she wanted to stop and play with it so it took awhile for her to open all of the gifts.
And what birthday would be complete without Cindy's balloons?!? This balloon bouquet is bigger than Hannah Kate is!
